Carmel Valley Lodge

WELCOME TO


The Carmel Valley Lodge was originally built in the late1950’s on more than 3 acres. The current owners are dedicated to the constant delight of their guests and bringing this iconic, peaceful sanctuary forward in time… but not too far forward!  The property is a wonderland of outdoor art, flower gardens including some rare and unique plants and old trees, along with water features and a Koi Pond.  From the sparkling Saltwater Pool, Spa, and Fire Pits, our guests enjoy the beautiful view of the Carmel Valley hills. Carmel Valley Lodge is located just a short walk from the Village with restaurants, shops, and over 20 wine tasting rooms. We’re across the street from a community park where children can run and roll in the grass with their best 4-legged friends who you didn’t have to leave at home because the Lodge is Dog Friendly (advanced notice and fees apply).

We feature comfy organic cotton & wool California King and Queen beds in our One, Two, and 3-Bedroom units where you'll be sleeping on the most luxurious linens imaginable. 

All rooms are charmingly furnished with real furniture giving you a warm feeling of home.

A Carmel Valley Lodge Continental Breakfast

Our free, over-the-top version of a Continental Breakfast is offered daily from 8:00-10:00am. Choose from our make-your-own waffle station, hard boiled & deviled eggs, our grandmother's homemade oatmeal, avocado toast, yogurt/fruit cups, granola, fruit, locally roasted coffee, tea, OJ, and on the weekends Annette surprises us with a hot egg dish.

Learn Yoga

Theresa is a highly trained Yoga Instructor specializing in teaching the right yoga positions with individual needs in mind. “One-size, fits all” Yoga is not taught here! 9:00-10:00 am Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday. Sign up or drop-ins' welcome. Just $15.

Hiking

Hike the most breathtaking trails of Big Sur, the Carmel Valley, and the Monterey Peninsula with recommendations from a local guide who has lived in the area for almost her entire life.
